Bombs Away Coming to Bell Library!

bombs awayIf you are interested in World War II history, the War Birds, and other aircraft, join us on Saturday, July 9th at 1:00 PM. Matt Hurd, owner of Bombs Away LLC Bryan, Ohio specializes in bomb replicas, grenades, and military items for museums, aircraft owners, businesses, collectors, and has even made bomb replicas for Rihanna. Matt Hurd also attends air shows around the country portraying a bomber crewman for the World War II B-17 Bomber. He has also flown the B-17 Bomber to some of the air shows. There will be a 45 minute special video about World War II Fighter Pilots following the program. All ages are welcome and you do not need to sign up for this program.

Akron Area Arts League Art Program!

akron arts leagueThe Akron Area Arts League will be hosting an art program for kids ages 8 to 15. Kids will do a different painting each day. This program runs Monday through Thursday July 18-21 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The Kid’s Art Show will be held Thursday, July 21st at 6:00 PM. Parents and family are welcome to come enjoy what the kids created all week. Artwork will be sent home after the show. Cost for this program is $25.00 and includes all materials. Class size is limited to 20 and you must fill out a form and send it with check to The Akron Arts League. Forms are available at the circulation desk.

Kid’s Canvas Painting With Karla Hayden!

paintingGirls will paint a pink peony & boys will paint a race car. Time & date is Saturday, July 23rd at 10:00 AM. Cost is $10.00 and includes all materials. You must sign up for this program & pre-pay. Checks should be made out to Karla Hayden.race car

Kid‘s Spring Break Movie This Thursday at 1:00 PM!

Come and enjoy a movie during spring break! We will be watching  "The Good Dinosaur."  A hilariously heartwarming adventure about the power of  confronting and overcoming your fears and discovering who you are meant to be. A Disney-Pixar movie. Time & date Thursday, April 7th at 1:00 PM.

Zumba for Beginners at Bell Library!

God's Club
Join us for our Movie Matinee on Monday, April 18th at 1:30 PM. We will be viewing God's Club. This is a faith based movie that focuses on having the ability to believe in God no matter what.

Cost for this program is $4.00 and you must sign up. Time & date will be Tuesday, April 26th at 6:00 PM. This program is for adults and teens only. 

cpr A CPR class will be held at Bell Library Thursday, March 24th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Cost for this class is $10.00 per person and you must sign up. You will receive certification when you finish the class. 

 

Make a Painted Easter Bunny Sign

bunny 2This Bunny is painted on wood with a bow, butterfly, and a bushy tail attached. Great for your Easter decor. Cost for this program is $4.00 and you must sign up. Time & date is Tuesday, March 22nd at 6:00 PM. This program is for adults & teens only please!

The second weekend in February brings everyone out of their houses and into the park for fun-filled winter days. The National Ice Fishing Competition is held on Lake Maxinkuckee along with a Kids Ice Fishing Camp. Come out and enjoy the winter with ice sculptures displayed throughout the town, sledding and ice skating in the Town Park, and the popular Polar Plunge. Oh – and some warm chili to fill your bellies. Also don’t miss out on the Cupid’s Crawl shopping event Friday. Visit the website for a complete schedule.
