Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the library district known as Bell Memorial Public Library (the "Library") that the Kosciusko County Council (the "County Council") will meet at the Kosciusko County Justice Building, 121 N. Lake Street, Warsaw, Indiana, at the hour of 6:00 p.m. (Local Time) on March 11, 2021, to consider the following additional appropriation of the bonds which the Library Board (the “Board”) has determined to issue. The Board considers such additional appropriation necessary to meet the need existing at this time:

An appropriation in the amount of $500,000 on account of the renovation, construction and improvements to library facilities, including the purchase of equipment and technology, including the incidental expenses necessary to be incurred in connection with the project and the issuance of bonds on account thereof. The funds to meet such additional appropriation are to be provided by the issuance and sale of bonds by the Library.

The foregoing appropriation is in addition to all appropriations provided for in the existing budget and tax levy, and a need for such appropriation exists by reason of the inadequacy of the present building to provide necessary Library facilities in the Library district.

Taxpayers of the Library district appearing at said meeting shall have the right to be heard in respect to said additional appropriation.

In light of the changing circumstances as they relate to COVID-19 and the Indiana Governor's Executive Orders regarding social distancing, please check the County Council's website prior to the scheduled hearing to receive up to date information about meeting logistics.

Dated this 18th day of February, 2021.
