To our Community and Patrons: With the current pandemic in our state you need to know what the staff and Trustees of the Bell Memorial Public Library are doing to keep people safe.
Heavier cleaning in addition to our regular cleaning. We use a mix of bleach and water as recommended by county health departments and the CDC. We have hand sanitizer, but with low supplies we simply ask that you wash your hands. The Book Buddies kits as well as toys used in-house are being taken for cleaning and will be available again after the virus is gone. We ask if you have a fever or feel unwell to remain at home and take care of yourself. For now we are planning on remaining open as long as possible, but this too could change. If we do need to close we will be offering “curb side delivery” of Library materials. Just call us at (574)353-7234 or e-mail us at email@example.com and if we do not have that particular item or one similar we’ll attempt to get it via Inter-Library loan, or if it is a newer item we will attempt to purchase it for you. Please note that you do need to have a Library card. If you don’t we can help you with a card application etc. We serve all of Mentone, Harrison Township as well as Tippy Valley students. In the event that we must close:
We offer free 24/7 wifi which is easily accessible in our parking lot. We can also help with wireless printing. Just call us or e-mail Mr. Boggs for assistance. Feel free to access our online resources: Axis360 as well as Hoopla. If you haven’t any loans left on your Hoopla account, just e-mail Mr. Boggs for assistance. As always, please contact us with any cares/concerns and we’ll attempt to meet your needs as much as possible.
Best To You,
Stephen Boggs, Director
